Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Limited has launched the Repsol Honda Team Edition of its Grazia125 scooter for the Indian Market. The company offers the scooter with graphics and a paint scheme inspired by the renowned Repsol Honda Team. Coupled with orange painted wheels, the scooter’s new paint design caters to India’s MotoGP and racing fans. Priced at INR 87,138 ex-showroom, Honda will offer the latest Grazia125 Repsol Honda Team scooter at all their dealerships.
Along with the aforementioned Repsol Honda-themed graphics and colours, the scooter features a unique LED DC headlamp. The Grazia125 sports ‘Honda’ badging on the floor panel with a BS6 compliant, air-cooled, 125cc, single-cylinder engine at the side. The engine uses Honda’s new PGM-FI fuel injection technology with HET (Honda Eco Technology) and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP).
This enables the engine to produce 8.2 PS of peak power and 10.3 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a V-Matic, CVT automatic transmission, the scooter sports an Under Bone chassis and a telescopic front suspension. The scooter sports a 3-step, fully-adjustable rear suspension with 10-inch rear wheels and 12-inch front wheels. For braking performance, Honda offers the Grazia125 scooter with a 190mm front brake disc and a 130mm rear drum brake.
Honda offers the Grazia125 scooter with a ‘Silent Start ACG technology’ that enables the scooter to start silently. To further reduce engine maintenance, the scooter features six intelligent sensors. These include a Throttle Position Sensor, Oxygen sensor, Engine Speed sensor, Air temperature with a pressure sensor, and engine-oil temperature sensor. These sensors send all the information towards the central control unit, which monitors the rate of injected fuel.
Additionally, the scooter sports features such as an Idling Stop System and a Side Stand indicator with engine-cut off. Other notable features include a redesigned glove box, 171mm of ground clearance, an integrated pass switch, and an external fuel lid. The bike also sports a fully-digital instrument cluster where riders can track their average fuel mileage and distance-to-empty.
