Honda has launched the new CB Unicorn 160 in India at prices starting from Rs. 69,350 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle will be available in two variants:
Powering the new CB Unicorn 160 is a new 163cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor producing 14.5 BHP of power @ 8,000 RPM and 14.61 Nm of torque @ 6,000 RPM mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 62 kmpl, and the bike is equipped with the new Honda Eco Technology (HET).
A rather conventional or boring looking design, the motorcycle will be offered in the premium performance 150cc category. The CB Unicorn 160 will fight against the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ V2, TVS Apache RTR, Bajaj Pulsar and Hero Xtreme. Although lacking punch in the looks department, Honda’s engine refinement department is sure to lure customers.
Bookings for the new Unicorn are open at all dealerships across the country and deliveries will begin from next week.
The bike is available in 4 colour options – white, black, grey and red.
