Honda launches 2023 Hornet 2.0 at INR 1,39,000

Honda has launched the updated 2023 Hornet 2.0 in India. The bike is now compliant with the latest emission norms. Honda has set a price of INR 1.39 lakh for the Hornet 2.0 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

What’s new in the 2023 Hornet 2.0?

One of the new features on this bike is the digital instrument cluster. This unit offers information like speed, odometer, tachometer, battery voltage and more. It also has a dual trip meter, gear indicator, service indicator and a clock. Further, the rider can also tweak the brightness as per the requirement. Additionally, the bike also offers engine stop switch and indicators for hazard light and side stand.

Colour options on the Hornet 2.0 include Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

Coming to the hardware of the bike, the 2023 Hornet 2.0 is based on a diamond-type frame. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Brakes consist of a 276mm disc at the front and 220mm rear disc. Both brakes are of the petal type.

Powertrain of the Honda Hornet 2.0

The Hornet comes with a 184.4cc single cylinder engine. This motor develops 17 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 15.9 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. Honda offers a 5-speed gearbox along with a new slipper clutch that gets assist as well.

Honda Livo launched in India

Honda has launched the updated Livo commuter motorbike. The 2023 Honda Livo is now OBD2 compliant, gets warranty up to 10 years and prices for this 110cc bike start from INR 78,500. This new launch follows up on Honda’s other launches for the year like the CD100, SP160 and others.

The Honda Livo is a commuter bike with a 110cc engine. Honda offers this with both drum brake and single disc brake variants. The drum brake version will cost INR 78,500 while the dingle disc brake variant will set back buyers by INR 82,500. The Livo is available in three colours – Athletic Blue Metallic, Matte Crust Metallic, and Black.
