Honda H’ness CB350 recalled for faulty gearbox

Honda is voluntarily recalling its latest modern-classic motorcycle the Honda H’ness CB 350 in India due to an issue with the gearbox. The Honda H’ness CB 350 manufactured between 25th November 2020 to 12th December 2020 is currently under the recall campaign. It is important to note that there are no reports of any failure to date and the recall campaign is completely voluntarily, showing the company’s commitment towards the customer. However, Honda has not mentioned how many Honda H’ness CB 350 units are under the recall campaign.

The Fault

According to Honda, the countershaft 4th gear of the transmission may have a different material grade which may cause a defect upon extensive running/usage of the motorcycle. The Remedy

The recall campaign is in-line with the brand’s commitment to providing the highest quality products and customer satisfaction. The recall campaign starts on 23rd March 2021 and customers can check if their vehicles are under the recall by checking the status on the official Honda H’ness CB 350 website by entering their VIN numbers.
