Honda has removed the Grazia scooter from its official website. Could this mean that the 125cc scooter has been discontinued?
Recently, Honda launched the Dio 125 in the Indian market. The scooter is priced from INR 83,400, ex-showroom. It is also reported that dealerships are no longer receiving stocks of the Grazia scooter.
Over time, low sales volume of the scooter have been affecting the Japanese two wheeler maker. With the popular Dio now being offered in the higher capacity 125cc engine option, Honda would have considered adding an update to the Grazia. Further, while the Grazia was launched back in 2020, the Dio is an old name and much more popular.
In terms of design as well, the Dio 125 looks identical to the Grazia from the back. Common features include the digital instrument cluster and others.
HMSI offers the Grazia 125 in 2 variants – Drum and Disc along with four unique colour options to choose from. These include Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Night Star Black, and Sports Red. The scooter gets a 123.97cc, 4-stroke, fan-cooled motor that develops 8.25 PS and 10.3 Nm of torque.
The Grazia 125 sports an Under Bone frame with telescopic front suspension and a 3-step, adjustable rear suspension. Along with a 5.3-litre fuel tank, the scooter sports a ground clearance of 171mm and a V-Matic transmission. The Grazia 125 rides on a 12-inch front alloy wheel with a 10-inch rear wheel and gets an LED headlamp, along with an LED taillamp.
Recently, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer had announced that it has achieved a sales milestone of 2 lakh units of the Grazia 125 in the Eastern Region. This region includes states like Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, Odisha, Assam, and Nagaland.
