Honda Dream bikes cross 10 lakh sales figure

The 100-110cc mass market motorcycle segment is one of the fastest growing segments for Honda. Honda, which sells the Dream series of motorcycles under this segment, has crossed the 10 lakh sales figure. All this in a span of 26 months, and the market share in this segment has increased to 8% from the previous 2%.

Honda expects the CD 110 Dream to further enhance the sales number in the rural markets. Other two bikes under the Dream series are the Dream Neo and the Dream Yuga.

To celebrate this milestone, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., announced the ‘One Million Dream Celebration Offer’ through which, customers can avail free insurance and attractive finance scheme of up to 100% loan to value.

The Dream series of motorcycles are powered by a 109cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine producing 8.25 BHP of power and 8.63 Nm of torque. The bike gets a 4-speed gearbox and weigh between 105 – 108 kgs.
