Honda Cars India has rolled out a substantial update for its Connect app, enriching the user experience with a host of new features. This comprehensive update has expanded the total number of features available in Honda Connect to an impressive 37, and it comes bundled with a complimentary 5-year subscription package starting from the vehicle’s purchase date.
Key Features As A Part Of This Update
One of the standout additions is the Personalized Dynamic Dashboard, a feature that empowers users to tailor their H-Connect experience. This customization includes personalized home screens, colour schemes, and dashboard layouts, allowing users to make their driving experience truly their own.
Another noteworthy enhancement is the introduction of a digitalized pick-up and drop-off service, streamlining the process of booking service appointments and providing real-time updates on service-related activities. This feature aims to make vehicle servicing more convenient and transparent for Honda customers.
In collaboration with HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited), Honda Connect has introduced an enticing rewards program for Fuel Pay. Users can now earn 5 HP Pay points for every INR 100 spent on fuel at HP filling stations, offering a 25 per cent bonus compared to regular HP customers, as per Honda’s announcement.
Additionally, the app now offers a platform for users to explore pre-owned vehicles, facilitating both buying and selling of pre-owned cars. This integration extends to accessories, enhancing the overall experience for Honda Connect users by providing a comprehensive platform for all their automotive needs.
Safety Features As A Part Of This Update
Safety has not been overlooked, with the introduction of the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This feature provides real-time updates on tire pressure via the app, helping users maintain optimal tire conditions. Furthermore, the Drive View Recorder (DVR) allows users to record events around the vehicle while it’s in operation. Accessing recorded footage is made easy through the Honda Connect app, post-installation. Notably, the TPMS and DVR functions require separate accessory items for full functionality.
In sum, Honda’s updated Connect app is set to elevate the driving experience by offering a multitude of features that cater to personalization, convenience, rewards, and safety. This holistic approach aims to strengthen the bond between Honda and its customers, making the ownership experience more engaging and fulfilling.
