The City moniker is a popular C-segment sedan in the Asian market. In fact, it is globally renowned for offering a comfortable yet efficient experience in a sedan car. However, Honda also sells a hatchback version of the same in some select markets, including Thailand.
Based on the City hatchback, Honda has now launched a sport iteration called City Drival. It comes loaded with a sporty body kit which is inspired by the RS models like the Civic Type-R.
Visually, it is available only in a pearl white exterior colour that is matched with gloss black highlights. Body parts, including the ORVMs, alloy wheels, roof, and bumper skirts, are painted black to give it a sporty appeal.
Other notable changes include the new Type-R front grille, body skirts, a roof-mounted spoiler, and rear bumper diffuser with a chrome exhaust tip.
On the inside, it features an all-black leather upholstery, which is enhanced by the deep-bronze highlights on the seats and panels. In terms of features, it is packed with the latest tech that is offered on the top-trim on the standard model.
It is based on the eHEV petrol-hybrid motor, which is also offered in India on the City Hybrid version.
Honda has limited its production to 1,000 units only. The Drival is a Thailand-only model, and we do not expect it to debut in India. The launch price for the Drival hatchback is THB 829K, which equates to approximately Rs 21 lakh.
