Honda CB Trigger gets more power

Honda has bumped up the power figures for their CB Trigger motorcycle. The 150cc-class motorcycle now produces 14.35 BHP of power and 12.50 Nm of torque.

With increasing competition such as the Suzuki Gixxer, refreshed Yamaha FZ Version 2.0, the slow moving Honda CB Trigger is feeling the heat. Apart from the CB Unicorn, no other 150cc motorcycle really took off in the market. So to keep it on par with the competition, Honda has gone ahead to bump the power figures.

The CB Trigger is powered by a 149.1cc, air-cooled petrol engine which produces 14.35 BHP of power @ 8,500 RPM which is 0.55 BHP more than the previous state of tune. Torque remains the same at 12.50 Nm @ 6,500 RPM. Engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and the bike also comes with an optional combi-brake system. Other mechanical parts remain the same.

Honda is planning to launch a new 160cc motorcycle in the market soon.
