Japanese car manufacturer Honda has given its BR-V, the 7-seater MPV which poses as a SUV a facelift. The new updated Honda BR-V has been unveiled at the 2019 Indonesia International Motor Show on 25th April.
On the exterior the new BR-V gets a new re-designed bumper with a silver finished skid plate, the fog lamps get chrome bezels around them. The front grille remains the same only adding some chrome finish on the slats, but the headlights have been reworked with new inserts and LED daytime running lights. The side profile has plastic cladding running from the front bumper to the rear along with the slightly protruding wheel arches. The top gets a roof rail finished in silver. The rear bumper has received some changes with a large duct-like housing for reflectors and a silver coloured skid plate. The wheels are 16-inch diamond cut alloys with a fresh new design.
The interiors get a dark grey finish and red stitching on the seats and armrests on the top-end variants. The new features on the BR-V include a push button start/stop, steering mounted controls for the infotainment system, automatic climate control and keyless entry. In terms of safety, the BR-V gets dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Brakes), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), reverse parking sensors and an engine immobiliser.

When the new BR-V comes to the Indian markets, it is expected to receive an upgrade on the engine in terms of emission norms to cope with stringent BSVI standards.
