Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India announced the dispatch of Honda Shine all over India. They have commenced the dispatch process from Honda’s 3rd factory in Narasapura (Karnataka).
Honda Shine 100 was launched in India in March 2023. It’s a model which is a prequel to Shine 125. It is a very popular 125cc commuter bike. It is mainly manufactured for those who need it for city commuting for work or otherwise. Honda Shine 100 is claimed to be reliable & affordable bike. It will also deliver good fuel efficiency, comfortable riding experience, comfortable seating and decent performance for its price range.
Honda Shine’s kerb weight is 99 kg. The 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, fuel-injected motor makes 5.43 kW power and 8.05 Nm torque matched to a 4-speed gearbox.
This time surprisingly, Honda chose to keep the mileage confidential for unknown reasons. They say, the mileage is for the buyers to decide. As mileage of a bike varies from rider to rider, road to road, terrain to terrain etc. Honda has handed over the deciding factor of its mileage to the testimonials of the buyers. The company claims the mileage to be best in segment. Honda waits to hear from its customers if the mileage they record matches with the company prediction.
Honda Shine 100 will rival the likes of Hero MotoCorp Splendour. The bike comes with a self-start feature. Clearly a plus point for it in this segment. The bike is priced at INR 64,900 ex-showroom. Its features will be very basic and will meet the bare minimum. Honda Shine 100 has features like halogen bulb headlamp, bull type indicators, normal tail lamp, black painted alloy wheels, front & rear drum brakes, silver pillion grab rail, single piece seat, simple speedometer cluster without digital display, exhaust heat shield and different body decal colors on a black base paint.
The motorcycle is available in five color options. Black with Red stripes, Black with Blue stripes, Black with Green stripes, Black with Gold stripes and Black with Gray stripes.
