Honda entered the Indian market back in 2001 with the Activa. Then for the next 17 years, Honda added its first 10 lac customers in the eastern states. Now, the company has added 10 lac customers in just 5 years, which is quite remarkable. Honda also mentioned that Activa 6G and Shine lead the two-wheeler demand in West Bengal. The brand also inaugurated two Skill Enhancement Centres in Kolkata and Asansol, taking forward Honda’s quest for zero road accidents. This centre will empower local youth with job-oriented technical skill training. Moreover, the brand has provided road safety awareness to more than 1.5 lac citizens through regular training at schools, colleges and corporates.
