Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) today introduced two new grades of Honda Mobilio – V (O) and RS (O).
Price (ex-showroom Delhi):
- 1.5L V (O) MT (Petrol) – Rs. 9.46 lakh
- 1.5L V (O) MT (Diesel) – Rs. 10.45 lakh
- Mobilio RS (O) MT (Diesel) – Rs. 11.55 lakh
The new V (O) grade will be positioned above the regular V grade, in both petrol and diesel engine options. The RS variant is exclusively available only on the diesel engine Mobilio and likewise, even the RS (O) is a diesel specific variant.
The new V (O) and RS (O) variants will get segment first Audio Video Navigation (AVN) along with rear view parking camera. The AVN features a 15.7cm touch screen loaded with satellite based maps with voice assist, DVD, CD, Bluetooth, USB, Aux-in, iPod, and FM. Apart from this, the new variants will also get faux wood on the dashboard and door armrests.
Honda is having a successful run with the launch of the Mobilio MPV. Also, the brand has shown full commitment to the product by moving production of the popular Honda City to another plant only to manufacture the Mobilio faster. Honda has received 85% of the bookings for the Mobilio diesel and the i-DTEC powered Honda cars have already crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone.
The availability of the RS and RS (O) will begin from mid-September2014.
The Diesel Mobilio powered by the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel producing 99 BHP @ 3,600 RPM and 200 Nm of torque @ 1,750 RPM. The Petrol Mobilio with 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine produces 119 BHP of power @ 6,600 RPM and 145 Nm of torque @ 4,600 RPM. Fuel efficiency is rated at 24.5 kmpl and 17.3 kmpl for the diesel and petrol engine respectively.
