Honda 2Wheelers India sold 4,32,207 units in October 2021

Honda 2Wheelers India sold a total of 4,32,207 units for October 2021. This includes 3,94,623 units of domestic sales and 37,584 units as exports. In international business, the company had exported 32,721 units for October 2020, thus resulting in a growth of 15 per cent for this month. The festive season is acting as a catalyst to propel the sales figures, which has been badly hit since the onset of the pandemic. This positive trend in demand will likely continue till the end of this year.

Honda Motor Corp. Japan announces its collaboration in support of battery sharing service for India. This will help build a robust charging infrastructure in the country. The company plans to introduce this service in the 1st half of 2022 with the use of the Honda Mobile Power Pack. Keeping the festive season in mind, Honda introduced two new campaigns. These are, ‘Aap aur Activa – India Ke Do Pahiye’ and “Kamaal Per Litre”. These campaigns will send a unique message to generate sales for Activa and CD110 Dream Deluxe, respectively.

Honda’s premium showroom chain, BigWing, has now found its place in two more locations. These are Aluva, Mangalore (Karnataka) and Worli, Mumbai (Maharashtra). These BigWing outlets offer the customers a more enhanced experience for the premium offerings of the brand. Honda 2Wheelers India has sold more than five core units since it entered India in 2001. In terms of road safety, Honda 2Wheelers India, in association with Bengaluru Traffic Police and Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran, celebrated the first and fourth anniversaries of their safety driving education centres, respectively in Bangalore and Karnal.

In the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship, Honda put up some great results. PS165cc class saw Rajiv Sethu grabbing a podium finish for the IDEMITSU Honda SK69 Racing team, while Senthil Kumar and Mathana Kumar gained valuable points. In MotoGP, Repsol Honda, led by Marc Marquez, won back to back wins in round 15 and round 16. Pablo Quintanilla of the Monster Energy Team earned a magnificent triumph on the final day of Round WORLD4, Rallye du Maroc 2021.
