Royal Enfield has announced its sales numbers for the month of March 2023. Further, the Indian bike maker also revealed its number for the Financial Year ending 2022-23.
In March 2023, Royal Enfield sold 72,235 units of motorcycles. Compared to the same month previous year, there was a significant rise from 67,677 motorbikes. Apart from this, the company also registered sales of 8,24,895 units in the FY 2022-2023 period. This is the highest ever number for the iconic bike maker. The previous high was recorded in 2018-2019. The 2022-23 numbers are 39% higher than the previous year.
In the domestic market, Royal Enfield registered a growth of 41 percent and reported sales of 7,34,840 units.
Not just in domestic markets, but also internationally, Royal Enfield has breached new milestones. The Indian bike maker has reported 1,00,000 units in exports in the FY 2022-2023 period. This also marked the first time that the export growth was over 23 percent compared to the previous year.
Royal Enfield has also revealed new colour options for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The former will get four new shades while the latter comes with two new options. Apart from these, the bike maker has also offered few amenities like new comfier seat, revised switchgear, USB charging socket and a new LED headlamp. Further, cast alloys and tubeless tyres are now standard on the blacked-out versions of the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.
Royal Enfield has launched the third iteration of its popular media campaign. This aims to bring together art enthusiasts across the country and offer them a platform to showcase their art with the theme of ‘motorcycling way of life’. For this year, Royal Enfield will visit design colleges across the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.
