Hero MotoCorp has updated its popular Xpulse 200, a motocross inspired motorcycle to BS6 emission norms with an added oil-cooler and reworked exhaust system. The brand has also updated its official website and added new accessories for the Hero Xpulse 200.
The accessory portfolio consists of an Xpulse specific motocross-style helmet with Xpulse graphics that are in-line with the motocross concept of the motorcycle, that claims to have been engineered to provide the rider safety along with providing all-day comfort.
The brand is also offering four styles of seat covers to suit the individual rider’s riding style along with comfort and anti-slip properties. The seat cover styles available as optional accessories are – Modern a simple design that suits all riders and riding conditions, Tourer a style that offers all-day comfort on long-distance cross-country road trips, Dual Tone an urban design that provides maximum grip and Adventure a design made for all-terrain rides and off-road outings.
Hero MotoCorp has also launched the Hero Xpulse Rally Kit for the Xpulse 200 available as a complete kit priced at INR 38,000. The Hero Xpulse Rally Kit comprises of a fully adjustable telescopic front fork with 250mm of stroke and a ten-step fully adjustable rear Mono Shock with 220mm of stroke, a ‘Flat Bench’ seat, handlebar risers, an extended gear lever to accommodate rally-style boots, knobby off-road tyres from Maxxis and long side stand. The ground clearance on the Rally Kit equipped Xpulse 200 increases from a stock 220mm to 275mm.
The Hero Xpulse Rally Kit has been developed using the brand’s experience in top motorcycle rallies including the coveted Dakar Rally and now enthusiast and aspiring racers alike can benefit from the Rally Kit to practice and keep their skill-set sharp.
Hero MotoCorp has not announced the price on the motocross Helmet and Seat Covers and the brand is also due to launch the new Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 model which is speculated to demand INR 5000 more than the predecessor which was priced at INR 1.06 lakh ex-showroom.
