Hero Vida V1 electric scooter will get more variants soon

Hero MotoCorp is looking to expand its EV portfolio sold under the Vida brand. The Indian bikemaker plans to expand the Vida EV offerings by next year. According to a media report, there will be more variants of the Vida V1.

Vida’s expansion plans

It is reported that Vida plans to expand in a phase-wise manner. The brand plans to open showrooms across various Indian cities in 2023. Th\e brand also plans to have a good sales presence. Then, by next year, the company will launch more variants of the V1.

Vida’s V1 is based on a modular platform that can spawn multiple vehicles. It is likely that Vida could introduce more electric two wheelers based on this platform. Thanks to the modularity, there can be multiple power, range and battery options to satisfy the needs of different customers. Further, Vida might also distinguish the different models visually by adding or removing body panels.

These new offerings of the Vida could compete with the likes of the Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, TVS iQube and Ola S1 Pro to name a few.

Vida V1 : More Details

Vida V1 is nothing but a highly customizable scooter that comes with convenient removable batteries and three-way charging options. The scooter is available in two variants – Vida V1 Plus at INR 133,810 and Vida V1 Pro at INR 147,262. This price includes all connected features, a portable charger and a charging service. The Vida V1 also gets industry-leading features such as Custom Mode (100+ combinations), Cruise Control, Boost Mode, Two-way throttle, Key-less access, and an Over-the-air enabled 7-inch TFT touchscreen.

The Vida V1 uses an intelligent platform that’s modular, scalable and flexible. This enables it to learn and adapt on the go.
