Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 4 Valve online bookings reopen

One of India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers, Hero MotoCorp, has reopened the online bookings for its Xpulse 200 4 Valve motorcycle. This decision comes after the fact that the company managed to completely sell off the 1st batch of the motorcycle. Priced at INR 1,30,150 (ex-showroom), customers can book the Xpulse 200 4 Valve via the company’s ‘eSHOP’ platform. After making an advance payment of INR 10,000, the user-friendly system guides the customers through the buying and delivery process.

2022 Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 4 Valve: Design Details 

The Xpulse 200 4 Valve sports an on-road-off-road focussed design with cutting-edge technology and distinct styling. The Xpulse 200 is one of India’s first 200cc adventure motorcycles to win the IMOTY award in 2020. Along with featuring an enhanced LED headlight, the bike sports three colours – Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid. The brand also offers an FMSCI-approved Rally Kit for the bike that includes road-legal, homologated performance parts for motorsport events.

2022 Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 4 Valve: Technical Specifications 

Hero MotoCorp has equipped the Xpulse 200 4 Valve with a 200cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-Valve engine with 6% more power. Additionally, the engine also develops 5% more torque, thanks to which it produces 19.1 PS and 17.35 Nm. The brand claims that the 4-Valve, oil-cooled engine provides superior power across the mid and top-end rev range. Additionally, the motor also offers stress-free performance at high-speeds thanks to a 7-fin oil cooler and keeps vibrations under control.

Thanks to a significantly improved 5-speed transmission setup, the bike offers improved strength and durability whilst offering better acceleration. To tackle rough terrains, the bike sports a long suspension travel with 190mm at the front and 170mm at the rear. Hero MotoCorp has equipped the bike with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels that offer enhanced tractability on rough terrain. The bike sports an aluminium skid plate for engine protection and a toothed brake pedal for maximum grip and control.

Along with a high-mount exhaust that enables deep water crossing, the bike also features dual-purpose tyres and 220mm of ground clearance. Additionally, the bike sports a 10-step adjustable mono-shock suspension, a seat height of 825mm, and a well-engineered chassis setup. The brand has ensured to equip the bike with a protective windshield for wind and weather protection for the rider. For braking performance, the Xpulse 200 4 Valve also sports petal disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS.
