Hero MotoCorp will reveal a scrambler based on Mavrick 440 at EICMA soon

Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil a new scrambler variant based on the Mavrick 440 at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy. This new model is expected to appeal to motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a rugged, off-road flavor.

Design and Features

The new scrambler variant of the Mavrick 440 features several design enhancements aimed at giving it a more rugged and macho look. Key updates include a new fly screen, fork gaiters, and a cross-brace handlebar. The alloy wheels have been redesigned, and the tank shrouds now feature a new pattern for a more rugged vibe. The seat is broader and flatter, and there is a new grab rail and tail section with turn indicators flanking the tail light.

Performance and Specifications

Mechanically, the scrambler variant is expected to retain the same 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine as the standard Mavrick 440, producing 27 bhp and 36 Nm of torque. The bike will come with a 6-speed gearbox, offering a blend of performance and fuel efficiency. The new model will also feature dual-sport tires, a bash plate, and a beefy guard for added protection.

Market Position and Expectations

Hero MotoCorp’s partnership with Harley-Davidson has been instrumental in developing the 440 platform, and the new scrambler variant is expected to build on this success. The company aims to capture the growing interest in scrambler bikes among Indian consumers, who are increasingly looking for versatile motorcycles that can handle both on-road and off-road conditions.

EICMA Debut

The EICMA show is one of the most prestigious motorcycle exhibitions in the world, and Hero MotoCorp’s participation is highly anticipated. The company plans to showcase several new products at the event, including the new scrambler variant of the Mavrick 440. The unveiling is expected to generate significant interest and excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts.
