Hero MotoCorp sold 5,19,980 two-wheelers in September 2022

Hero MotoCorp has updated its latest sales report. The company has sold more than 28 lakh units in the first six months of the Financial Year (April-September) 2022-23. This translates to double-digit growth of 14.42 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous fiscal (FY’22). For this period, the company sold more than 24 lakh units.

In terms of monthly performance, Hero MotoCorp dispatched 519,980 units of motorcycles and scooters in the month of September 2022. These figures mean growth of 12.4 per cent over the month of August 2022, when the company had sold 4,62,608 units.

With the onset of the peak festive season, Hero MotoCorp remains optimistic about customer demand over the coming weeks. The normal monsoon across most parts of the country, too, will encourage farm activity. And thus, this will most likely contribute to positive customer sentiments. The company launched its first electric vehicle, VIDA – Powered by Hero on October 7, 2022. With the EV segment reaching new highs, Vida is one big name in this segment. Coming from a reputed brand like Hero MotoCorp, Vida will appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Key Highlights Of September 2022

Hero MotoCorp launched the Hero GIFT- Grand Indian Festival of Trust to mark the beginning of this year’s festive season. Under this initiative, Hero is offering exciting model refreshes, retail benefits, a slew of financing schemes, pre-booking offers, and much more.

Hero MotoCorp recently launched the new Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 edition. Price starts at an attractive range of INR 1,29,738 (ex-showroom Delhi). With its progressive design, modern connectivity and equipment, the motorcycle is the perfect choice for tech-savvy customers.

In the month of September, Hero MotoCorp also announced its collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). As a part of this, both will work in tandem to establish charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the country. This move aims to accelerate the transition of mass mobility to an electrified future.
