Hero MotoCorp sold 5.20 lakh two-wheelers in March 2023

Hero Motocorp has released its sales report for March 2023. The two-wheeler maker posted a total sales of 5,19,342 units for the given period. This represents a growth of 15 per cent over the same month last year. For that period of time, the company posted a total sales of 4,50,154 two-wheelers. This sales figure breaks down to 4,85,896 units for motorcycles and 33,446 units for scooters in March 2023. In total, the sales for FY 22-23 surpassed the 5.3 million units mark. This marks an increase of 8 per cent as compared to the previous fiscal year.

Sales Figure Breakdown For Hero MotoCorp

Out of total sales of 5,19,342 units posted in March 2023. The sales break down as 5,02,730 units for the domestic market meanwhile 16,612 units for exports. This comes in as against 4,15,764 units sold in domestic markets for March 2022 and 34,390 units as exports. Thus we can say that there has been a de-growth in terms of exports. YTD FT23 also reported the exports as low at 1,72,753 units when compared to 3,00,624 units shipped in YTD FY 22. The Vida V1 EV is among the most popular products launched products of FY 22-23

An Eventul Financial Year 2022-2023 For Hero MotoCorp

Talking of FY 22-23, it was quite a roller coaster ride for Hero MotoCorp. The world’s largest two-wheeler maker saw a few launches. In addition to this, it also collaborated with a host of partnerships with other companies. This included the much-in-demand new 110cc scooter, the Xoom. We also have the new electric Vida V1 EV, along with the XTEC variants of Iconic Splendor. Then we saw the arrival of Passion followed by Super Splendor. Finally, we saw the 4-Valve edition of its popular tourer XPulse 200T.

Hero MotoCorp Building New Collaborations

Hero MotoCorp announced its partnership with two-wheeler EV manufacturer Zero Motorcycles. This was over the course of the previous fiscal year. With this in place, we are anticipating seeing a number of launches over time. Hero MotoCorp also announced its entry into the South-East Asian Market by collaborating with Terrafirma Motors Corporation (TMC). This will help them to launch their products in the Philippines.
