Hero MotoCorp sold 4,45,580 two-wheelers in July 2022

The world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, Hero MotoCorp, has released its sales report for July 2022. The company sold 445,580 units for the given period.

With the opening up of businesses, Hero MotoCorp’s sales are on the rise. The company has sold 18,35,773 units of motorcycles and scooters so far (April-July) in FY ’23. Thus, this marks a double-digit growth of 24.1 per cent over the previous period in FY’22, wherein the figure was 14,78,905 units.

Momentum To Continue Further

The normal monsoon in most parts of India, too, will boost sales. Furthermore, the consequent agricultural harvest and the upcoming festive season will also keep the sentiments positive and help build momentum.

July 2022 Key Highlights

Hero MotoCorp recently launched the exclusive Rally Edition of its widely popular motorcycle Xpulse 200 4V. There was also the inception of the latest edition of the iconic Super Splendor in Canvas Black Edition. Hero Motocorp claims triple promises for the motorcycle. These are – Super – Power, Super – Mileage and Super – Comfort.

In the month of June, Hero Motocorp announced Hero Dirt Biking Challenge (HDBC) – the first-of-its-kind across-India talent-hunt program by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). HDBC’s main aim was to provide budding riders, enthusiasts and amateurs with the much-awaited platform. This will benefit particularly those who want to pursue their passion in off-road racing and make a name for themselves in the field.

Under Hero MotoCorp’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform “Hero WeCare”, the brand also launched an Agroforestry project in Jahota village near Jaipur. This project’s long-term commitment is to promote environmental development. More than 20,000 fruit-bearing trees will come up for three years in partnership with 101 farmers in the village.

Hero MotoCorp also inaugurated a Public Health Center (PHC) and a newly-constructed check-dam in Chandwaji village. This has the capability of holding more than 3000 cubic metres of water. The check-dam will benefit the villagers by recharging groundwater levels and also providing drinking water for their livestock.

For the given month, Hero MotoCorp also handed over 1,167 units of Hero Glamour to West Bengal Police. The department will use these motorcycles to enhance the mobility of the police personnel in ensuring women’s safety and preventing crime in the state.
