Hero MotoCorp has released its sales report for November 2022. The world’s largest two-wheeler maker sold a total of 390,932 units of two-wheelers for the given period. This translates to a growth of 12 per cent over the corresponding month of the previous year. At that time, i.e. in November 2021, the company had sold 349,393 units.
Hero MotoCorp expects the momentum to continue in the coming quarters. This is on account of favourable economic indicators, including encouraging farm activity and positive consumer sentiments along with the upcoming marriage season.
During the given month, VIDA, the electric mobility brand of Hero MotoCorp, launched its first Experience Center in Bengaluru. With this, it aims at offering an immersive and completely differentiated experience to customers. VIDA will soon open Experience Centers next in Jaipur and Delhi. The deliveries of the much-awaited VIDA V1 will most likely commence in the second week of December 2022.
Hero WeCare is the flagship platform for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Under this, The company handed over 50 motorcycles and ten scooters to the Gurugram Police. The department will use the vehicles to widen the mobility of police personnel responsible for ensuring the safety of women and controlling other crimes across the region.
Hero MotoCorp recently announced the off-Road Riding Champion. This was after concluding the first edition of the Hero Dirt Biking Challenge (HDBC). Asad Khan grabbed the top position after the final race in a contest. The event witnessed great participation from riders and enthusiasts across the country. In the past few months, over 100,000 participants registered for the HDBC. After an aggressive nationwide contest that ran across four stages, 41 cities and over 120 days. Finally, the top 20 were short-listed. The HDBC will soon air over MTV and be streamed over Voot.
