According to sources, it is confirmed that Hero’s Destini 125 will have another variant as well. A new document that has been circulated showcased the Destini 125 LX and Destini 125 ZX+ names. While the ZX model was already listed with the brand, LX is a new addition to this. However, the Hero has not yet revealed the Destini 125’s price.
Hero Destini 125 engine:
The 2024 Hero Destini has the same engine of 124.6 cc, identical to that of its predecessor, and hence its performance output remains unchanged. It still generates 9 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque. In order to make it easy for shorter riders, the scooter’s wheelbase has been extended by 57mm, reaching 1302mm. Additionally, the seat height has been slightly lowered down from 778mm to 770mm.
Hero Destini 125 hardware:
The 2024 Hero Destini 125 features a new, neo-retro aesthetic. It has a unique trapezoid-shaped LED headlight, turn indicators and projector DRLs mounted lower on the front apron. While the base variant has chrome highlights, the top variant comes with copper chrome accents. The top and mid-spec models have diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the base model has steel rims. The rear end features a distinctive H-shaped LED tail lamp with built-in turn indicators.
Further, the ZX and ZX+ variants possess LCD instrument cluster along with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. On the other hand, the VX model has a semi-digital instrument cluster. LED projector headlamps, LED taillights, and self-cancelling turn indicators are features found on all models. The top and mid spec models; ZX and ZX+ have high-end diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the VX model has standard alloy wheels. For added convenience, the scooter also has an external petrol filler cap, a boot lamp, a pillion backrest which is available on ZX and ZX+ models, and a USB charging outlet.
