Hero has launched the new Xtreme 200S 4V in India. The bike’s price is set at INR 1,41,250 and follows on the success of the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. The product has been designed for younger audiences across the world.

The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V gets a dual tone colour along with graphics that make the bike look sporty. Customers can choose from Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic and a premium Stealth Edition paintjob. It also gets sculpted LED headlights that not only offer improved visibility but also add to the character of the motorcycle. These are complemented by the LED tail lights at the back.
Overall, the bike gets a nice progressive design language. It combines both the performance and sportiness characteristics of the Xtreme 200S 4V quite well. Hero has equipped the bike with a split handlebar, improved rider ergonomics and updated the aero components.
Features & Hardware of Hero Xtreme 200S 4V
Coming to the features, the bike gets a phone connectivity suite with navigation, Bluetooth and call and SMS alerts. All this is displayed on a fully-digital instrument cluster. Other information on the display includes a gear indicator, eco-mode indicator, service reminder and trip meter.
In terms of hardware, the Xtreme 200S 4V gets telescopic front suspension and adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. It gets petal discs on both ends and comes with single channel ABS.
Powertrain of the Hero Xreme 200S 4V
Hero has updated the engine. The same 200cc four valve oil-cooled motor now offers 6 percent higher power and 5 percent extra torque. The bike’s power is rated at 19.1 PS @ 8000 RPM and a maximum torque of 17.35 Nm @ 6500 RPM. This engine is now complaint with both OBD2 norms as well as E20 fuel norms.
