Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Xtreme 125R in the Indian market with a price tag of INR 95,000 ex-showroom. The new Hero Xtreme 125R comes with a futuristic design drawing inspiration from the Hero Concept 2.5R XTunt. The premium 125cc motorcycle expands Hero MotoCorp’s 125cc segment. Hero’s portfolio currently includes the Glamour XTEC, Super Splendour XTEC and Glamour Magnetic.
The Hero MotoCorp Xtreme 125R comes with a sharp and edgy design language. The motorcycle features a low-slung headlamp with position lights on top of the shroud. The bike also gets a muscular fuel tank with angular cowling and deep knee recesses.
The Xtreme 125R also gets a step-up seat and a sharp tail section. The brand has incorporated a mass forward stance with layered effects leading to an aerodynamic design. The 125 segment motorcycle also comes with a hazard lamp and premium suspension by Showa. The Xtreme 125R also comes with all LED lighting and digital instrumentation.
Powering the Xtreme 125R is a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 11.5 PS of power thanks to the use of smarter cam angles. The engine also offers smoother and silent power delivery thanks to its ECU programming. Hero MotoCorp also claims that the Xtreme 125R returns a fuel efficiency of 66 kmpl. Thanks to this, the motorcycle is set to become an all-rounder.
The brand also reveals that the Xtreme 125R comes with a diamond frame using the engine as a stressed member. With a steeper 24-degree caster angle and a larger trail the Xtreme 125R maintains a balance between rigidity and agility. The motorcycle also comes with a first-in-segment 37mm telescopic front suspension. The bike also comes with a Showa developed monoshock on the rear. The motorcycle also comes with 276mm disc brake on the front with ABS.
Hero MotoCorp is offering the Xtreme 125R in three colour options – Cobalt Blue, Firestorm Red and Stallion Black. The brand is also offering the motorcycle in two variants – IBS and ABS. The Xtreme 125R IBS comes with a price tag of INR 95,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. The Xtreme 125R ABS comes with a price tag of INR 99,500 ex-showroom, Delhi.
