Hero MotoCorp launches Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar edition at INR 1.67 lakh

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition in India, priced at INR 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This special edition celebrates Hero MotoCorp’s impressive performance at the 2024 Dakar Rally, where their rider Ross Branch secured a second-place finish.

The Dakar Edition features a unique Dakar-inspired livery, with graphics depicting a bike dune bashing and location coordinates on the fuel tank. The bike also sports a Dakar logo on the tank, making it stand out from the standard Xpulse 200 4V Pro.

Specifications and Features

Mechanically, the Dakar Edition remains identical to the Pro variant. It is powered by a 199.6cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled engine, producing 18.9 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike features adjustable telescopic front suspension with 250mm travel and a rear adjustable mono-shock with 220mm travel. It also boasts a high seat height of 885mm and handlebar risers for a comfortable riding stance.

The motorcycle comes with switchable ABS offering three modes: Road, Off-road, and Rally. It also includes a rally-style windshield, closed-loop knuckle guards, and a USB charger. The bike rides on wire-spoked wheels with dual-purpose tyres and features disc brakes at both ends.
