Hero Motocorp has launched the BS6 emission compliant Destini 125 scooter at the price of INR 64,310 ex-showroom, Delhi. The BS6 standards-compliant Destini 125 is offered in two variant options LX and VX.
The Hero Motocorp Destini 125 is powered by a BS6 compliant 125cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC engine that produces 9 BHP of power and 10.4 Nm of torque mated to an automatic (variomatic drive) with dry centrifugal clutch. The fueling comes through a Programmed Fuel Injection system with X-Sens technology. The brand claims that the BS6 Destini 125 comes with 10% faster acceleration and 11% higher fuel efficiency as compared to the outgoing BS4 model.
In terms of its exterior dimensions the Hero Motocorp Destini 125 measures 1809mm in length, 729mm in width, 1154mm in height with a wheelbase of 1245mm and 155mm of ground clearance. The kerb weight of the Destini 125 is around 111 kg and it has a maximum payload capacity of 130 kg. In terms of its mechanical hardware, the Destini 125 comes with telescopic front forks and a single hydraulic type coil spring suspension on the rear.
The updated Destini 125 features an LED daytime running light on the front fascia, halogen headlamps with Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function, a 3D logo finished in chrome, combination key-lock, digital-analogue instrument console with trip and service reminder, side stand indicator, external fuel filler, tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, an under-seat luggage compartment with boot light and mobile charging socket, etc.

The BS6 compliant Destini 125 is completely designed and developed at the brand’s Research and Development facility – the Center of Innovation and Technology (CIT) located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
