Hero MotoCorp has launched the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 commuter motorcycle in India at the price of INR 82,911 ex-showroom. With the latest generation Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 Hero MotoCorp celebrates the 30th anniversary of the world’s highest-selling motorcycle. The new Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 continues with its iconic design but also gets modern and premium tech updates including a HIPL (High Intensity Position Lamp), LED headlamps and H-shaped taillamp.
The Hero MotoCorp Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 not only comes with LED DRLs and headlights but also features a digital speedometer with Eco-indicator. This also includes RTMI (Real Time Mileage indicator), and Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts. The bike also comes with a service reminder, side stand indicator and USB charger.
Additionally, Hero is also offering hazard lights on the new Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 to enhance the safety quotient of the commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle also gets a side-stand engine cutoff and bank angle sensor. The bike also comes with tubeless tyres to reduce puncture anxiety. In addition to this, the brand is also offering the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 with a warranty of 5 years/ 70,000 Kms.
The Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 also comes with a longer seat to increase the comfort of the rider and passenger as well as a larger glove box with a hinge type design. The new motorcycle is now instantly recognizable thanks to the dual-tone colour theme. The new colour theme comes three dual-tone colour options – Matte Grey, Gloss Black and Gloss Red.
Powering the Hero MotoCorp Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 is a 100cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine develops 7.9 Bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. Hero claims that the new Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 return a mileage of 73 kmpl thanks to the i3s (Idle Stop Start System). The motorcycle also claims to have a low maintenance cost and an enhanced service interval of 6000 km.
