Hero MotoCorp launches Splendor+ Black and Accent at INR 64,470

In line with the festive season, Hero MotoCorp has launched the Splendor+ Black and Accent at INR 64,470. The new Splendor+ Black and Accent edition feature a unique option through which the motorcycle can be customized with the graphics of the customer’s choice at the time of purchase.`

The concept is the result of the ‘Hero CoLabs’ contest during which participants from across the country created graphic design themes for the Splendor+ motorcycle. The top three designs out of thousands of entries and were put into production. These three designs are now available for customers who can choose the design at the time of purchase. Customers also have the option of purchasing the Splendor+ Black and Accent without any graphics. 

Hero CoLabs which was launched on 7th April 2020 enabled fans, students and professionals to showcase their creativity. The initiative received over 10,000 registrations and the results were declared on 16th May 2020. 

The Hero MotorCorp Splendor+ Black and Accent features an all-black theme and customers can choose from three distinct design themes – Beetle Red, Firefly Golden and Bumble Bee Yellow. The graphic themes are priced attractively at INR 899. The complete kit including graphics, 3D Hero Logo and Rim Tape can also be bought by customers at the price of INR 1,399. 

There are no mechanical changes to the Splendor+ Black and Accent and the motorcycle comes with a BS6 compliant 100cc 4-stroke, air-cooled SOHC engine with Programmed Fuel Injection and ‘X-Sens Technology’ that produces 7.91 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque matched to a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. 

In its standard form, the BS6 Splendor+ is offered in three variants – Kick Start with Alloy Wheels, Self Start with Alloy Wheels and Self Start with Alloy Wheels and i3S. The Splendor+ BS6 comes in Solid Black with Purple, Grey, Red options and with a Red-Black-Purple finish and a new paint finish called Ebony Grey with Green.
