Hero MotoCorp announces the launch of a new variant of the Pleasure+ called Xtec. This is now the top-spec Pleasure+ on sale and comes loaded with features. Pleasure+ has always been one of the renowned scooter brands in the country. And with the introduction of this new variant, Hero will extend its portfolio to attract a larger pool of customers. With the growing demand for scooters in the market, Pleasure+ perfectly matches the aspiration of the customers of today’s generation. The time of launch of this variant in the festive season is not a coincidence. Hero MotorCorp aims to pitch itself with this variant hence boosting sales in this festive season.
For starters, Hero is using a new LED projector headlamp, which is also a 110cc segment-first feature. Hero claims that this new lighting setup provides 25 per cent more light intensity. And at the same time gives a unique outlook to the scooter. Other features include Hero’s revolutionary i3S Technology and digital-analogue speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity. The instruments cluster also comes with call and SMS alerts, side-stand engine cut off, etc.
For the pillion, Hero has equipped a branded seat backrest. This ensures full back support that promises utmost comfort. Hero has made use of chrome on the mirrors, muffler protector, handlebar, seat-backrest, and fender stripe in terms of styling. Furthermore, Hero has also given a dual-tone seat and coloured inner panel that perfectly matches the contemporary modern look of the scooter.
There’s no change in this department, and Hero continues with the 110cc single-cylinder motor. The performance output figure stands at 8 BHP and 8.7 Nm. The use of Hero’s i3S does help in improving fuel efficiency significantly.
Hero has put on a sticker price of INR 69,500 for this Xtec variant. The customers looking to grab the attention of the onlookers should think of choosing the new Jubilant Yellow shade.
