Hero MotoCorp launches Hero Dirt Biking Challenge

Hero MotoCorp has launched a first-of-its-kind pan-India talent-hunt program under the name Hero Dirt Biking Challenge (HDBC). As a part of this, Hero MotoCorp aims to provide the ideal platform to the country’s youth. This will also act as a breeding ground for budding riders and enthusiasts who want to pursue their passion for off-roading. As evident from the name, HDBC will reach as many as 45 cities to find India’s top amateur off-road riders. Hero MotoCorp will reward the winner and two runners-up with Hero Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle and sponsorship contracts from Hero MotoCorp worth Rs. 20 lakh. To attract maximum engagement, Hero MotoCorp will telecast the HDBC over MTV and stream over Voot in the month of November 2022.

Perfect Opportunity For Off-Road Enthusiasts

Hero MotoSports, the rally-racing team of Hero MotoCorp, has been making big news in the international rally racing scene. Thus to keep this going, they are bringing the expertise to mentor the youth in India through HDBC. This will give a major boost to the off-road riding culture in the country.

Hero MotoCorp expects this initiative will open doors for riding enthusiasts and provide India with its future champions. The participants will also get a Golden Opportunity to train with the Hero MotoSports Team Rally. Hero MotoSports Team Rally riders Joaquim Rodrigues, Sebastian Buhler, Ross Branch, and Franco Caimi will work with the participants and provide them with the necessary coaching. Participants can visit the Hero Dirt Biking Challenge’s official website to register for the event and get more details.

The Flow Of Events

After the initial online screen, the first round will take place over multiple weekends in 45 cities. Then from here, the shortlisted participants will move to the regional rounds that will be held across 18 cities. The top 100 selected riders will go to a five-day regional boot camp. At the boot camp, they will get another golden opportunity to train under the guidance of rider CS Santosh. The boot camp will also conclude with a race. The top 20 participants will then move to the finals scheduled at the Center of Innovation of Technology (CIT), Hero MotoCorp’s state-of-the-art R&D centre in Jaipur.
