Hero MotoCorp Glamour 100 Million Edition launched at INR 73,700

The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer announced another milestone, and this time it was for crossing the 100 million cumulative production. In a special event organised in the manufacturing hub located at Gurugram, the company announced the launch of 6 new special edition models to celebrate this grand achievement which includes, Destini 125, Maestro Edge 110, Splendor+, Xtreme 160R, Passion Pro and Glamour. Now the company announces the launch of the 100 million special edition of the Glamour to go on sale in the Indian market. Recently,  the company had made similar announcements stating the launch of the 100 million special edition model of Passion Pro, Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 110.

100 Million Edition Hero Glamour

There are no mechanical changes made to the motorcycle. The only difference from the regular trim is the use of a dual-tone colour with a chequered flag design on the headlight cowl, red panels and fuel tank. Two trims are available in this model, one with a front drum brake and the other with a front disc brake. As the mechanicals remain the same, thus a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine does the duty in the Glamour. The engine produces a peak power of 10.7 BHP at 7,500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM.

Features and Kit

The semi-digital instrument cluster comprises all the standard gauges like an analogue speedometer, digital fuel meter, odometer, trip meter, service indicator, fuel economy and more. The equipped start-stop system does improve fuel efficiency and is practically very useful in city stop-go traffic conditions. The suspension setup consists of telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle comes with a 240mm disc or a 130mm drum at the front meanwhile, the 130 mm rear drum is standard.

Pricing

The 100 million special edition drum brake variant has a sticker price of INR 73,700 (ex-showroom) meanwhile, the disc brake trim costs INR 77,200 (ex-showroom). The Glamour locks its horn with the other 125cc motorcycle in the Indian market having the likes of Honda SP 125, Bajaj Pulsar 125 and more.
