Hero MotoCorp has announced a price hike for its range of products. The world’s largest motorcycle maker will revise its price list starting from 1st July 2022. The price revision will hike and make the products costlier by up to INR 3,000. However, the exact price will vary from model to model based on the exact trim. Hero MotoCorp mentioned that the price revision partially offsets the growing inflation cost.
Update On Hero’s Upcoming Electric Scooter
With high demand for electric vehicles across the country, Hero is preparing itself to enter the market. Under the brand name Vida, the two-wheeler maker has big plans in the electric mobility segment.
The plan was to launch the scooter in March 2022. But then the company delayed the launch date to July 2022. As per the latest reports, the launch date has further been shifted to September 2022. Thus, the chances are high that the electric scooter will arrive at the showrooms around the festive season. Hero says the ongoing semiconductor shortages as one of the reasons for the delay. Furthermore, the ongoing issues in the supply chain are also causing delays.
Hero MotoCorp’s ‘XCLAN’ Club For XPULSE Owners
Hero MotoCorp recently announced the launch of the XCLAN riding club for its XPULSE owners. This club will provide a stage for owners of the XPulse motorcycles to engage with each other. Clubs like these go a long way in developing a sense of belonging and oneness amongst the members. This club is currently available in five cities. These five cities are – Dehradun, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Cochin and Mumbai. In the future, Hero MotoCorp will also add these clubs to additional cities by the latter half of 2022. This is a great move and will also attract more customers to the Hero brand.
