Harley-Davidson recently announced its partnership with Hero MotoCorp in the Indian market and under the strategic partnership the brand is taking on the responsibilities such as sales, service, spares, merchandise, accessories, warranties and H.O.G activities for the American brand in India. Now, Hero MotoCorp has announced that Harley-Davidson is offering its Low Rider, Low Rider S, Fat Boy 107 and Fat Boy 114 motorcycles at a special price along with a Chairman’s edition plaque on the first 200 Limited Edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The Limited-Edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles will come with an Average Partner Discount on the Ex-showroom price for Hero MotoCorp Limited suppliers including their family member, employees, business and service partners. The Harley-Davidson Low Rider comes with a discount of INR 125,000, the Low Rider S will come with a discount of INR 150,000, The Fat Boy 107 comes with a discount of INR 200,000 and the Fat Boy 114 comes with a discount of INR 225,000 on the ex-showroom price. The discounts may vary as per the colour option chosen by the customer.
The new discount scheme is under the ‘First To Ride-2021’ initiative and celebrates the American brand new beginning into the Indian market and its association with the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp. Last year, Harley-Davidson announced its exit plans for the Indian market and shut down the Bawal manufacturing facility in Gurugram.
In February 2021, Hero MotoCorp announced that the brand has absorbed 11 existing Harley-Davidson dealerships across India and appointed Ravi Avalur as the business unit head who will be reporting to Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp. Hero MotoCorp also announced that it will be adding more Harley-Davidson dealership in the Indian market in the near future. Currently, Harley-Davidson dealerships are located in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bhubaneshwar and Dehradun.
