The e-cycle brand of Hero Cycles Ltd., Hero Lectro, recently announced the launch of four brand new variants of their existing C and F series line-ups. These are, namely, C1, C5x, and F1. The prices for these e-cycles fall in the range of INR 32,999 to INR 38,999. Hero claims that these cycles are perfect for riding in the city. In addition to this, riders can also test them on off-road terrains as well. The new e-cycles use advanced Aluminium 6061 alloy frames. This enhances the structural strength as well as corrosion resistance of the frame.
E-cycles have now become a preferred alternative. This mode of transportation is perfect for the ones looking for adventure while also being health-conscious, sustainable, and pocket friendly. Hero is fully committed to enhancing the rider experience with sheer innovation. This is pretty much evident in the line-up of products on offer.
As electric cycles are becoming increasingly popular in India, Hero Lectro’s commuter series aims to leverage this demand. Thus it has introduced high-power removable batteries that offer the convenience of charging anywhere in under 4 hours. In addition to this, the improved aesthetics and 19″ frames on the entry-level C1 model also add to the better ergonomics for comfortable and safer commutes. Other key highlighting features include anti-skid alloy pedals, aerodynamic forks, and IP67 and IP65 dust and waterproof ratings.
These new Hero Lectro C1, C5x, and F1 come with dual wall alloy rims in different dimensions as per rider preference. Riders also get the feature of RFID key locking and LED display units. Using the 250W BLDC rear hub motors and high-power Li-ion batteries, these e-cycles are quite capable. Apart from portable chargers compatible with conventional power sockets, the C5x also gets detachable Li-ion batteries. This makes them even easier to charge and swap.
The E-bikes are available via the Hero Lectro D2C website at Hero Electric’s official website. Customers can also explore Hero Lectro’s extensive network of over 600 dealers, e-commerce channels, and exclusive Experience Centres and Zones in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai.
