Hero Electric, the country’s largest electric mobility solutions company headquartered in Delhi has announced it’s unique ‘Be a Bike Buddy’ referral scheme for both its new and existing customers. The new discount offers have been launched to encourage people into buying affordable, green, eco-friendly and cost-effective means of personal transportation which is also a means of automatic social distancing, as compared to public transport.
Under this new scheme, Hero Electric scooters are now available at a flat discount sale of INR 2000 and an additional discount of INR 2000 is offered if the customer is referred by an existing Hero eBike user and every 50th customer who books the Hero Electric scooter will also get “Glyde e-scoot” for free. The also sends in a small thank you note to such existing Hero E-Bike owner by sending them an INR 1000 discount coupon and a chance to win a Hero Optima for free.
Hero Electric’s Optima ER is powered by two 48V/28AH lithium-ion batteries paired to a 550W/1200W Brushless DC (BLDC) electric motor mounted in the hub of the two-wheeler. The Optima ER weighs 83 kg and can achieve a top speed of 42 kmph and claims to have a range of 110 km on a single charge.
The Hero Electric product portfolio includes Flash, Nyx, Optima, Photon, Flash, Dash and also the ER (Extended Range) variants which include the Optima ER and Nyx ER along with Glyde and E-Cycle.
The scheme is valid through 25th June to 15th July on all e-Bikes except the Glyde e-scoot and the Flash lead-acid low-speed model. The company also offers a ‘3 days no questions asked return policy, doorstep delivery and doorstep service on their e-Bikes.
The company has been delivering electric mobility solution for the past 12 years with close to 300,000 electric two-wheelers in India. The brand also launched the first lithium-ion powered electric scooter in India along with the introduction of charging stations.
