Harley-Davidson India has announced that the brand will be retailing the Harley-Davidson Street 750 and the Harley-Davidson Street Rod at special prices for Armed Forces personnel and both the motorcycles will be available for sale from the Canteen Store Department (CSD) across India. Harley-Davidson has also launched the Armed Forces H.O.G (Harley Owners Group) Chapter dedicated to the Armed Forces personnel in India.
The Harley-Davidson Motorcycles that will be sold through CSD is the Street 750 and the Street Rod both are powered by a 750cc V-Twin liquid-cooled Revolution engine that produces 60 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The Street Rod, on the other hand, comes with its unique styling and features a rounded headlight with a small flyscreen styled shroud, tear-drop fuel tank, scooped single-seat, a blacked-out engine with machine finish on the cooling fins but the similarities end with the upside-down suspension setup with a sporty 27-degree rake angle on the front, gas-charged twin shocks on the rear, bar-end mirrors, 7-split type open spoke alloy wheels on the front & rear etc.
