Haojue TR300 could be Suzuki’s new 300cc cruiser

In 2018, Haojue showcased the DR300 at the Chongqing Motor Show in China. Haojue is Suzuki’s partner in the Chinese market, and the DR300 is essentially a Suzuki GSX-S300. Pictures of a cruiser motorcycle have emerged on the internet, which is believed to be the TR300. The bike is likely to come with the same engine as the DR300 and feature relaxed cruiser styling.

Haojue TR300 – Design and Styling

The Haojue TR300 features a classic cruiser design with a long wheelbase and low-slung styling. According to the images, the TR300 will come with an oblong headlamp with projector beams and a small flyscreen over the instruments cluster. The motorcycle also gets a teardrop shape fuel tank with raised ridges. The fuel tank blend nicely into the seat scooped for more comfort. The rider also brings a wide handlebar for an open-chested cruising experience. The motorcycle also gets a sleek front and rear fender as well as a stubby exhaust pipe.

Haojue TR300 – Engine Specification

While there is no official word from the Chinese company, speculation is that the Haojue TR300 will come with the same engine that does duty on the Suzuki GSX-S300 and DR300. Powering the TR300 will be a 298cc twin-cylinder motor. The engine produces 29.23 PS of power and 27.8 Nm of torque. But the brand is likely to change the power delivery on the cruiser. The cruiser motorcycle is likely to be tuned to deliver its peak torque output in the bottom ranges and peak power in mid ranges.

Haojue TR300 – Mechanical Specification

The cruiser features a conventional telescopic front suspension and a higher rake angle. The motorcycle also gets twin shock absorbers with spring assist on the rear. The cruiser motorcycle also appears to get a single disc on both the front and rear wheels. The TR300 is also likely to come with smaller 16-inch alloy wheels and chunky tyres.

Haojue retails its products predominantly in the Chinese market only. The brand will compete with the Honda CM300, Qingqi KR GV300, Benda Jinjila 300 and the likes. The Haojue TR300 is not likely to come to the Indian market anytime soon.
