Greta Electric Scooters start manufacturing at new Faridabad plant

Manufacturing Facility To Boost Sales

The company yesterday announced the setting up of a manufacturing facility in Faridabad. This will help the brand expand its footprint in the Northern Indian market and willl also help with the growing demand for electric vehicles. Greta Electric Scooters mentioned that Faridabad’s proximity to the National Capital Region also gives excellent access to the Northern Belt. Furthermore, it will also reduce both cost and time to get products out to the market in the region. The new manufacturing facility has a production capacity of 30,000 units annually. Additionally, the new manufacturing unit will also reduce the days taken for new scooters to reach the dealerships.

Current Lineup Of Products

Given the rising demand for electric scooters in the market, Greta is offering its customers a wide range of options. In this portfolio, there are a total of 4 models to choose from, namely, Glide, Harper ZX, Harper V3+ and eVespa V3+. The company also claims a riding range of 100 km per charge for all the models.

Furthermore, to keep up with the competition, a host of features and kits are also on the offer. These features include DRL, EBS, reverse mode, ATA System, smart shift, and also a digital instrument cluster display. Additionally, we get a keyless start, disc brakes, and an anti-theft alarm for safety. Greta has a diverse colour palette to attract a wide range of audiences. With the future moving towards EV, Greta will hope to add more new models to its portfolio. The competition is growing, with new EV makers venturing into the segment every day.
