Gravton, a Hyderabad-based electric mobility company, has launched its first product in India. The EV start-up brand introduces the Gravton Quanta electric bike. The brand also announced that the Gravton Quanta would retail at INR 99,000 ex-showroom. India. Gravton also announced that the brand would offer a Gravton charging station free of cost to limited users as a promotional offer.
The Quanta comes with a balanced design philosophy that claims to win the hearts of both urban and rural commuters. The bike features rounded headlamps with LED daytime running lights and a headlamp shroud. The Quanta gets an upright handlebar and pod-style instruments cluster. The bike comes with ergonomic seating, comfortable for two, and ample foot space. The Quanta also comes with a raised centre spine and a sleek tail, and pillion grabrails.
Powering the Gravton Quanta is a 3kW BLDC electric motor. The electric motor is manufactured in-house and is specifically engineered to reduce mechanical losses and increase efficiency. The brand claims that the Gravton Quanta can achieve a top speed of 70 kmph. The powerful motor can belt out 170 Nm of instant torques. The twisting force allows high acceleration in any situation.
The Gravton Quanta comes with a 3 kWh lithium-ion detachable battery that offers 150 km of range on a single charge. The range can be extended to 320 km by using two batteries. In Addition to this, the Gravton Quanta can also swap the spent battery for a fresh one at Gravton’s SES (Swap Eco System). This further reduces the range anxiety of the customer.
The electric bike also comes with suspension bolted to a chassis and 17-inch alloy wheels. The electric bike also comes with a fast-charging system, battery swap enabled chassis, durable chassis materials and components, smart App feature, GOTAC ECU link to the smart app for vehicle tracking and remote immobilization.
The Gravton Quanta is available in three colour options – Red, White and Black. The Black colour option is a special edition with limited production. The bike is available for sale through Gravton’s official website.
