Italian premium superbike brand, MV Agusta has produced and delivered a one-off Dragster 800 Reparto Corse in Shining Gold which was made to order on a special request. The manufacturer produces niche segment motorcycles and is known for its exotic styling and performance.
The Shining Gold has been achieved through anodising and gold clear coating process and along with the shining gold livery, the bike also features various other parts in aluminium and carbon fibre. The bike also received an SC Project Reparto Corse performance exhaust with a gold heat shield. MV Agusta has also supplied the owner with an X-Lite X-803 Ultra Carbon helmet with a matching gold livery.
The MV Agusta Dragster 800 Reparto Corse is powered by a 798cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder in-line engine that develops 140 HP of power @ 12,500 RPM and 87 Nm of torque @ 10,100 RPM coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
In the mechanical department, the bike gets an ALS steel tubular trellis chassis with Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork in DLC treated aluminium with anodized fork legs having rebound-compression damping and spring preload on the front and a progressive Sachs single shock absorber unit with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment on the rear linked to an aluminium single-sided swingarm.
The braking duties are performed by 320mm twin floating disc with Brembo radial-type 4 piston callipers on the front wheel and a single 220mm steel disc with Brembo 2-piston callipers on the rear. The bike is also equipped with a Bosch 9Plus with rear wheel lift-up mitigation.
The electronics package includes, an integrated ignition and injection system with two injectors per cylinder, EM2.0 engine management system, Mikuni full drive by wire throttle body, pencil-coil with ion-sensing technology, traction control with 8 levels of intervention, and an MV EAS 2.0 bi-directional electronically assisted quick shifter.
The bike also gets 17-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels shod in 120/70 front and 200/50 rear, tubeless tyres.
