Gemopai ‘Miso’ mini-electric scooter with 75km range launched at INR 44,000

Gemopai Electric, a joint venture between New Delhi headquartered Goreen E-Mobility and Chinese electric mobility company Opai Electric have launched the Gemopai Miso mini electric-scooter in the Indian market available at the price of INR 44,000 ex-showroom, with the intention of providing a means of personal last-mile mobility with social distancing.

As no vaccine has been discovered for the ongoing COVID-19 / CoronaVirus one of the proven methods to avoid getting infected and to stop the spread of the virus is Social Distancing. Using a personal scooter automatically ensures social distancing when travelling and provides the rider with a relatively safe environment as compared to using public transport.

The Gemopai Miso mini electric scooter features a minimalist naked frame design with an upright handlebar, ergonomic single seat, a Hexa headlight, telescopic front suspension, coil-spring hydraulic assisted suspension, an LED Battery Indicator. The Gemopai Miso is powered by a hub-mounted electric motor paired to a 1 kW detachable Lithium-Ion battery that provides a range of up to 75 km on a single charge and can be recharged to 90% state of charge in 2 hours time. The Miso mini electric scooter does not require a license or RTO permit and has a max speed of 25 kmph.

The Gemopai Miso is available in two options – one for daily commute offering a comfortable seat and another that is targeted towards goods carriers and last-mile delivery solutions and includes a tail rack. The Miso is available in four colours – Fiery Red, Deep Sky Blue, Luscious Green and Sunset Orange.

Gemopai is offering the Miso e-scooter with an inaugural discount of INR 2,000 on all pre-bookings open from 26th June 2020 and the e-scooter can be purchased from the brand’s official website. The brand is also offering an industry first 3-year free service package for all Miso customers.

Gemopai electric scooter provides a greener, eco-friendly mobility solution that helps reduce the overall carbon footprint especially in urban environments as well as curbing travel costs, as fuel costs are on the rise, killing two birds with one stone.
