Gemopai Miso e-Scooter teased, scheduled for launch this June

A joint venture of New Delhi headquartered Goreen E-Mobility and Chinese company Opai Electric called Gemopai will be launching a new product in the Indian market soon called the Gemopai Miso, the electric mobility company has announced. The Gemopai Miso is targeted towards individuals looking for personal electric mobility solution at an affordable cost along with an efficient powertrain. 

The Gemopai Miso will be available in two options – one for daily commute offering a comfortable seat and another that is targeted towards goods carriers and last-mile delivery solutions and includes a tail rack. The Gemopai Miso will be heavily localised except for the battery and will be offered with different battery options with a claimed range of 65 km on a single charge.  

Currently, the joint venture retails two models in the Indian market called the Ryder and the Astrid Lite. The Gemopai Ryder is offered with a 250 Watts electric motor paired to a 48V/24AH Lithium-Ion battery pack that provides a claimed range of 90 km per charge. The Gemopai Ryder features a LED headlights, aerodynamic bodywork, flat-bench seating, generous footboard, backrest, telescopic front fork, single shock on the rear, disc brakes on the front and drum on the rear. 

Another offering from the brand is the Gemopai Astride Lite powered by a 2400W Rated Power and 4000W Peak Power electric motor paired to a 72v/1.7kwh Lithium-Ion battery pack that provides a claimed range of 100 km per charge along with a top speed of 65 kmph. The Astride Lite also features dual split LED headlamps with daytime running lights, aerodynamic fairing, 10-inch alloy wheels, ergonomic seating, large footboard, backrest, digital display, telescopic front forks, single rear shock, disc brakes etc. 

The Gemopai Miso is slated to be launched in June 2020 in India. The brand has not announced the price at which the e-scooter will be launched and is expected to be revealed soon.
