The Electric Vehicle Scenario In India

Since the recent hike in the petrol price, a lot of Indian customers are exploring all the possible alternatives. With the current CoronaVirus pandemic very much prevalent in the country, citizens are reluctant to use public transport and thus, electric vehicles are the best option to beat the pandemic as well as the skyrocketing petrol prices. The two-wheeler and three-wheeler sector is witnessing a significant shift towards electric vehicles with a lot of companies like Ather Energy, Ola, Hero Electric, Mahindra and more, launching new products regularly. The four-wheeler segment is also shifting its focus away from pollution-causing fossil-fuel-powered motors as more car brands like Tata Motors, Mercedes, MG and likes, launch their innovative electric vehicles in the Indian market.
