Yamaha has launched the new Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition on the much-popular FZ 25 sport naked motorcycle. The new FZ 25 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition comes with a price tag of INR 1,36,800 ex-showroom, Delhi. The brand has also revealed that the FZ 25 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition will be available in India at the end of July 2021.
The Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition FZ 25 features the Yamaha Moto GP theme on the fuel tank, tank shrouds, and side panels. Apart from the new theme, the motorcycle comes with an upright streetfighter stance and a muscular look. The bike features Class-D Bi Functional LED Headlight and LED Day Time Running Lamps. The motorcycle also comes with a negative LCD instruments cluster and a side stand with a cut-off switch.
Powering the 2021 FZ 25 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition is the same BS6 compliant 249cc single-cylinder engine. The air-cooled SOHC motor produces 20.8 PS at 8000rpm and a maximum torque of 20.1 Nm at 6000rpm. The electronically fuel-injected engine also comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
The Yamaha FZ 25 features a telescopic fork suspension on the front. On the rear, the motorcycle rides on a mono-shock suspension. Braking power comes from a 282mm hydraulic disc brake on the front and a 220mm hydraulic rear disc brake. The brand also provides dual-channel ABS for safety as standard.
Yamaha also announced that the FZ 25 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Edition would be produced and sold in limited numbers. The brand also revealed that Yamaha will be introducing the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Limited Edition in its other models in the near future.
