Ducati India has released a new edition of its flagship adventure-tourer motorcycle DesertX, called DesertX Discovery. It is a touring-oriented iteration that has all the optional accessories bolted on. Read its complete details below.

The DesertX is undoubtedly one of the best adventure bikes available in India currently. It comes equipped with loads of hardcore hardware that can easily take beatings from the hardest trails and off-road sections. However, the DesertX Discovery edition offers over-the-top specifications that are done by fully loading the bike with all the optional accessories.
The new full optional package on the Discovery includes reinforced knuckle guards, an engine guard with water pump protection, a radiator grille, and a bigger bash plate to protect the engine sump and other crucial components. However, it remains powered by an unchanged 937cc, L-twin engine generating 108 bhp and 92 Nm of peak power and torque.
Moreover, to aid the touring comfort of the rider, it is equipped with a bigger windscreen, a centre stand for easy parking and chain maintenance, and two big aluminium side panniers for luggage ferrying. Additionally, to add a bit of typical Italian taste, Ducati has draped the DesertX Discovery in the iconic Ducati Red and Black paint scheme with white vertical highlights.
Ducati has equipped the DesertX Discovery with the latest technology and features. These include LED lights, a coloured TFT console, Bluetooth connectivity for phones, navigation, ride modes, power modes, wheelie control, engine brake control, a bi-directional quickshifter, and more.
On the hardware front, it is equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels, 46mm fully adjustable USD forks at the front and a KYB adjustable rear monoshock, Brembo disc brakes with dual-channel ABS and ABS modes for off-road riding.

The newly launched DesertX Discovery edition ADV has a lot more to offer than the standard bike. It is a more touring-focused bike that also gets a special paint scheme to stand out from the crowd.
