MG Motor India has extended its free and unlimited charging offer for all the new and existing customers of the ZS EV till 30th June 2022. MG Motor India had earlier introduced the free and unlimited charging provided in partnership with Fortum Charge and Go which was earlier valid till 31st March 2022.
Customers can avail of the extended offer for all the Fortum Fast Chargers compatible with CCS charging standards across the country. Currently, the fast chargers are set up in 16 locations. It includes Mohali, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Customers can charge their ZS EVs from 0 to 80 per cent in just 50 minutes with these 50 kW DC Fast Chargers.
MG recently launched the upgraded all-electric SUV, 2022 ZS EV. The MG ZS EV is available in two variants – Excite and Exclusive and is priced at INR 21,99,800 ex-showroom and INR 25,88,000, respectively. It is important to note that the MG ZS EV Excite variant will be available from July 2022 onwards. The bookings for the Exclusive variant have been open since 7th March. Despite bookings being open only for the higher variant, the response has been very positive. The model has garnered over 1,500 bookings within a month.
The 2022 MG ZS EV comes with a larger 50.3 kWh Advanced Battery Pack, increasing the older model’s 44.5 kWh. The larger battery pack also offers an increased claimed range of 461 km on a single charge. The electric motor produces 176 PS of power and 353 NM of torque. The motor is capable of propelling the 2022 MG ZS EV from 0-100 kmph in a claimed 8.5 seconds.
The 2022 MG ZS EV comes equipped with safety features such as Electronic Stability Control, 6-airbags, Blind Spot Detection System, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Hill Descent Control, and a 360-degree camera. The battery also boasts of having the highest global safety ratings.
