Ford Doorstep Service at Home or Office, repairs & maintenance at no extra cost

At the beginning of the nation-wide lockdown initiated due to the CoronoVirus/COVID-19 pandemic, Ford India launched a new contactless sales and service platform called ‘Dial-A-Ford’ to ensure customers can reach out to Ford dealerships from the safety of their home to purchase Ford vehicles or to service an existing Ford vehicle. Now the brand has further enhanced the service by introducing Dial-a-Ford ‘Doorstep Service’ enabling Ford customers to get their Ford vehicle serviced wherever they want – Home or Office. The enhanced service is being offered at no additional charge.

The latest offering, Doorstep Service, under the customer-centric Dial-a-Ford initiative, in its first phase, will be launched in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Jaipur and Lucknow in North India. Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin and Trivandrum in the South of India. Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar in the East part of India and Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Aurangabad and Ahmedabad in the Western part of the country, with more cities to follow in the coming phase. 

Ford customers residing in the above-mentioned cities can book the Doorstep Service by making an appointment via the Dial-A-Ford toll-free number or through the nearest Ford dealership. The Doorstep Service includes essential vehicle check-ups, part replacements such as filters, oil replacement and dry-washing among other activities covered under scheduled service. All the work is performed by trained Ford experts. Customers also have the flexibility of making online payments for the service. In case of any issues that may not get addressed on-the-spot and require special needs, the technical team will take the vehicle to the nearest service centre. 

Though Ford encourages that customers use the online services from the safety of their home the brand has also employed high standards of sanitisation process at all Ford dealerships. The new approach includes the sanitisation of Ford facilities as well as strict guidelines for people and vehicles. This includes all vehicles at the sales and service points to be thoroughly sanitised at the time of delivery, pick-up or drop.
