Remember the Force One? Yes, the big SUV from the Indian brand Force Motors is testing a lower variant of its 4×4 equipped SUV. Force Motors launched the Force One 4×4 Lx earlier this year, and the lower Sx variant could be launched in the coming months, with lower equipment.
The primary difference between the Sx and the Lx variant is that the Sx will get fabric upholstery while the Lx gets leather upholstery. Both variants sport a 4×4 decal on the C-pillar.
Powering the Force One 4×4 is a 2.2L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged, intercooled, CRDi diesel engine producing 141 PS of power @ 3,800 RPM and 321 Nm of torque @ 1,600-2,400 RPM. Engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and also gets shift-on-fly for the 4×4.
Spotting the Force One is a rare sight, and the company needs to work on promoting the product better. Also, there is no update on the MPV which is slated for launch mostly next year.
